Refund policy

 

What is your online return policy? How many days do I have to return a product?

Eligible returns of products purchased on baitulcouture.com may be made by mail. Items must be returned for either a refund or merchandise credit (unless otherwise noted, i.e. final sale) in accordance with the requirements outlined below, within 14 days from the date of delivery to the return address included on the shipping label. 

Please note: We cannot provide international return labels. All international orders must be sent back at the customer's expense.

We offer two refund options for returnable merchandise:

  1. You can select to return for merchandise credit and enjoy free return shipping. (Note: Air-shipping rates apply for Alaska and Hawaii.)
  2. You can select to return for a refund to the original form of payment and pay a return shipping fee. Please note the shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.  

Returned merchandise must meet the below requirements in order to be accepted for a refund:

  • All items must be in original condition, with original packaging with all tags attached. Merchandise that has been worn, used, altered, or damaged will not be accepted. No exceptions will be accepted. 
  • Item packaging may include hangers, plastic wrap, boxes, warranty cards, accessories, and dust bags.
  • You may be required to provide receipt or proof of purchase. 
  • Certain items such as jewelry, watches, and sunglasses are shipped with a tag attached. Returns on these specific items will only be honored if the label/tag remains intact.
  • Baitul Couture reserve the right to research the original purchase and to limit or decline refunds. 
  • Merchandise labeled as "final sale" cannot be returned.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Non-returnable items are listed as “Final Sale”. Final sale items are not eligible for return. We let you know when an item is final sale, by noting it in the product description and it may also be noted on your packing slip.

How can I return a product I purchased online?

  • Please login HERE and complete the Return Form within 3 days of receipt of your package, and let us know which item(s) you would like to return along with the reason for return. Please indicate in the notes section if you would like a refund to the original payment or a merchandise credit.
  • If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return via the Return Form HERE will not be accepted and a refund to the original form of payment will not be issued. 
  • Pack the item(s) you wish to return in the original packaging.
  • Include the packing slip received with your purchase.
  • Attach the enclosed shipping label to the package and drop it off.
  • If for any reason you are unable to locate the prepaid label, please contact us. 
  • Your tracking number can be found on the prepaid shipping label. Please make note of this number for your records so you may track the status of your return.
  • Once received in the warehouse, returns will be processed within approximately 7-10 business days and credited back to the original form of payment or you will receive a merchandise credit. You will receive an email confirmation when your return has been completed. 
  • Baitul Couture will not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation in the event that return packages are lost, stolen, mishandled, or damaged (i) prior to acceptance by the mail carrier when utilizing the prepaid label provided by Baitul Couture or (ii) in the event that the prepaid label provided by Baitul Couture is not used for the return shipment.
  • Any item issued a shipping label for return that is mailed after the 14 day return window but before 20 days may be eligible for a merchandise credit. 

How long does it take for a refund to be issued?

  • Merchandise returned by mail to the warehouse will be processed within approximately 7-10 business days from receipt. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will receive an email confirmation when your return has been completed. Refunds will be credited back to the original form of payment or you will receive a merchandise credit. If your return is not approved, you will receive an email explaining why your return was denied. 
  • Processing times for refunds will vary depending on your bank or credit card company. 

Are delivery charges refundable?

  • Any original shipping charges incurred at the time of purchase are non-refundable.

How do I exchange an item I purchased online?

  • At this time, baitulcouture.com cannot offer exchanges for returned merchandise. We suggest you return the item you wish to exchange for a refund using the applicable conditions and guidelines listed in our Online Return Policy above and place a new order on baitulcouture.com. Please note new orders are subject to merchandise availability.  

What should I do if the item I purchased online is damaged or incorrect? 

  • Our customers are at the heart of what we do. We hope the package you receive is exactly what you wanted. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us using the information found HERE if the item you received is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Can I exchange or return an item gifted to me by someone else?

  • Gift items purchased on baitulcouture.com may be returned. However, refunds may only be issued to the same credit card used for original payment. 
  • At this time, baitulcouture.com cannot offer exchanges for returned merchandise. We suggest you return the item you wish to exchange for a refund using the applicable conditions and guidelines above and place a new order on baitulcouture.com.
